Antiseptic world in a bottle! Backhousia oil is fresh and lemony in a hyper kind of alpha way, it's the lemony-est of all, including lemon itself! Used primarily in the flavoring industry, lemon myrtle is quickly securing its own aromatherapy niche. And it's not even really a myrtle!

Lemon myrtle is a pale yellow or yellow mobile liquid of intensely fresh lemon-like odor with a pleasant sweet-green undertone. The main constituent is citral, which is present in amounts more than 90%.
