trygve harris   Trygve Harris

Trygve Harris is the owner and founder of Enfleurage. Originally from Southern California, she currently resides in New York City, where she has been since 1995. Interested in oils and incense from her earliest years, she has managed to marry her love of aromatics with her love of travel, regularly journeying to some of the globes most interesting and remote parts to explore the local olfactory delights.

Trygve has studied aromatherapy in Australia, distillation in Indiana, perfumery in Yemen, and incense in China, India, Vietnam, and Laos.

While her specialties are agarwood and the local aromatics of the Arabian Penninsula, Ms Harris is enthusiastic and charmed by the fragrant natural world in general, and is continually expanding her experience and knowledge in many areas, including essential oils, their lives as plants, their growth, harvest, extraction, and these effects on neighboring creatures.

Trygve Harris is available for consultations. Please call 212-691-1610 or email jasmine@enfleurage.com

A memorial to Robear

In memory of my best friend, the sweetest creature I have ever known. Robear led an exemplary life - he faced everything with courage and dignity and always did his best. Always sweet. Always gentle. Always loyal and loving.

This generous spirit stayed with me, hopping on three legs through the hot humid summers, and salt swept sidewalks of winter in Manhattan, flying back and forth across the country on American's noon flight as a celebrity dog, laying for hours in my mother's hospital room, and quietly sitting with chemotherapy patients at Santa Barbara's Cancer Center. He passed away from complications of osteosarcoma in July 2003.

He was my dearest friend and I miss him.
