This is a lovely patchouli but quite different from the Indonesian, particularly the Sumatran. The oil is quite young, and therefore has a green note which will mellow with age. The labiate note is really poking through. It is light in colour. Some love this oil, and some don't. The fundamental notes are excellent and it tested as a high quality, beautiful patchouli in the lab. But it doesn't have the depth and maturity sometimes seen in dowager patchoulis.
