Argania spinosa

Cold pressed from organic plant material. Unrefined but deodorized. 

The Argan tree is originally from Morocco and that's where its preferred terroir remains. Fruit is harvested, the shells removed and the kernel crushed. This is traditionally done by women. Argan oil was and still is used both for nutritive and cosmetic purposes in Morocco.

Virgin argan oil has a very strong fatty acid profile and is excellent for use in compositions for the skin and hair. It's known for it's ability to moisturize, protect and nourish, while supporting skin elasticity. It's particularly well known for soothing dry and problem skin types. Rich in Omega-6 Linoleic Acid and Omega-9 Oleic Acid.
